Course Objectives:
- Implement step-by-step implant surgical protocols on cadavers under the direction of Dr. Louie Al-Faraje and staff.
- Accelerate your learning curve to transition from classroom to surgically performing bone grafting procedures in your office with predictability.
- Increase your knowledge and skills in the areas of flap design, bone grafting, and suturing techniques.
- Completion of this program in combination with completion of the Online Advanced Implant Prosthodontics program fulfills the Fellowship requirements for the ICOI.
Online Bone Grafting Procedures Course Curriculum:
- Sinus lifting through the lateral window
- Maxillary alveolar ridge expansion using split-cortical technique
- Mandibular alveolar ridge expansion using Pedicled Sandwich Plasty (PSP)
- Chin block graft
- Perform a cricothyrotomy and anatomical dissection to identify the lingual nerve during the hands-on lab session
